A Divine warning. A dying world. Two strangers must defy the system- or watch humanity fail.
After a global virus wipes out two-thirds of the population, Sarah lives in quiet isolation - until a hungry young man named Ricky stumbles onto her farm. But when a mysterious figure cloaked in black appears to them with an urgent message from the Creator, their lives - and the fate of Earth - are forever changed.

The message is clear: humanity's corruption has reached its limit. Unless people choose love over hate, compassion over cruelty, the world will be wiped clean.

With time running out, Sarah and Ricky set out to deliver the warning to those in power. But the truth is dangerous... and not everyone wants to hear it. Hunted, betrayed, and pushed to the edge, they must decide to stay silent or risk everything to ignite a global awakening.

Plume of Fire is an award-winning dystopian novel blending post-pandemic survival, divine intervention, and a powerful message of hope. Perfect for fans of The Stand, The Leftovers, and The Book of Eli.
Gritty and Thought-provoking.

My Review - 4 of 5 stars -

Not my usual genre, but I found it very intriguing. The list of mass outbreaks was interesting, especially how far back they went. This version of the outcome of the 2020 pandemic mirrored what the present feels like. I loved Sarah and her work ethic, her kindness, and her love for her animals. She just accepted what was happening after losing everyone she cared for. Ricky was on the run because of misunderstandings and found his way accidentally to Sarah's farm. He did not want to lose her trust and worked hard alongside her. The concept of the divine one and the messengers, the end of the world, and one being believing there was still hope felt unique to me. The ending was not quite what I was expecting, but it gave me hope as well.

This is my unsolicited review.
