Release: The Mystery of the Missing Home (Chow Chow The Little Lion Puppy #1) by Daniela Hristova

Children's Book

Date Published: September 14, 2026

Meet Dea — the little Chow Chow puppy with a BIG heart!

But Dea's adventures are only beginning...

Beyond the garden are new friends, mysterious places, and unexpected surprises. And somewhere out there, a mysterious fox is watching.

Who is she? What does she want? And where will Dea's curiosity take her next?

Dea will be back... so hold on tight! Her next adventure could be even more exciting!

About the Author

Daniela Hristova arrived in the UK with an English vocabulary consisting of little more than "teabag" and a background as a multi-media journalist, actress, and singer who had spent years working in television, radio, newspaper, and stage in her home country. With a diverse professional journey that later ranged from wielding a mop to building a career in leadership and court security, she has navigated life's twists with a steady faith, a sharp eye, and a wonderfully dry sense of humor. Channeling her unique experiences and cultural blunders into the written word, she has penned a witty tribute to the resilience it takes to start over. When she isn't writing or tackling new adventures, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Dea. Fluent in Faux Pas is her debut memoir.

Blitz: The Foopy Song! by G.D. Griffiths

The Foopy Song!

by G.D. Griffiths

Children's Book

Food goes in and poop comes out-it's the circle of happy!

Mealtimes can be a struggle, but The Foopy Song is here to turn every bite into a celebration. Follow the rhythmic logic of the "Foopy" cycle: from the very first munch to the final wiggle!

This catchy, cheerful and joyful book helps children understand that eating isn't just about sitting still-it's the fuel that lets them play, laugh, and poop their way to a happy day. By showing kids how food leads to energy and energy leads to play, it turns the daily routine into a delightful, rhythmic experience.

BECAUSE!

Eat. Poop. Play. Repeat!

With a bouncy rhythm parents can sing or read, it's the ultimate guide to why we eat, how we feel, and why a little "poop" is a very big deal.

About the Author

G.D.'s storytelling spark was ignited in the hallowed land of Wales, where his childhood was spent exploring the sea until the legendary midnight summer twilight. His journey led him through academia, earning degrees in Computer Science and Operations Management, culminating in a PhD focused on Virtual Reality.

While pursuing his studies in Nottingham, he met his wife. Together, their spirit of adventure took them first to New Zealand, where G.D. worked in the video game industry and taught Scuba Diving. A seemingly simple job inquiry brought them to California, a place they planned to "try for one year," and where they still reside almost fourteen years later in Redondo Beach.

The family, which welcomed their son in 2012, is completed by Rhea, their quirky German Shepherd. Rhea became the key inspiration for G.D.'s first book, ABC's With Rhea, A doggy journey through the alphabet. Having observed that children learn best through stories, G.D. wrote this book to craft a specific, relatable world for each letter, encouraging children to connect deeply with the subject.

He has recently published his second book, Olly's Journey, and is already hard at work weaving new tales and adventures for his readers.

G.D.'s mission is to empower children to pursue their own creative writing journey.

The Tales of Sidney and JoJo

Adventures in Thailand

by Lauren Isaacson

Juvenile Fiction / Multicultural / Animals

Date Published: 06-23-2026

Illustrated by: Megan Heller

Sidney and JoJo are off to Thailand, where Mama lives.

Join them on an adventure to faraway lands-by crate, van, car, conveyor belt, and airplane-as they discover the sights and sounds of a tropical new world. Along the way, they meet friendly Thai people, encounter a wise dog, and gaze in wonder at the golden Buddhas and temple cats standing guard. With a few bumps in the road-marked by meows, tail twitches, and new surprises-they journey onward until, at last, they arrive at their new home.

My Review - 5 of 5 stars -

I found this to be a cute story. I enjoyed the cats' thought processes as they are transported to their owner in Thailand. This book showed the complexity of travelling pets and had a touching ending. The illustrations showed the differences in the cats.
