This was a touching, heart-breaking story. I had tears on and off as the story progressed. Cassie had her secrets and reluctantly returned to her hometown. I felt her pain as people reacted to her return and admired her determination to see it through. Noah had his issues, and miscommunication hurt his chance at a happier life. As the heat built between these two, more information came out, pulling in feelings for both. I was touched with the ending and the bonus ending. Made me cry.
The narration by Autumn Ivy and Jameson Adams was very well done. They made the emotions more realistic and helped me enjoy this audiobook. Wonderful job.
