I truly enjoyed this story, found it hard to put down. Hannah did her best to keep the land for her children. She had a little support from her ranch hand, Gus, and she continued to stand her ground through the legal side. I loved her tenacity, even with the danger surrounding her. Gus brought Eli, a gunslinger for hire, through an advertisement to the ranch. Eli was very protective, caring, and patient. Sparks flew between Hannah and Eli, though they waited. The addition of two acquaintances of Eli's brought more entertainment to this book. I look forward to the others in this series.
