I enjoyed this quick second chance/reunion story. Victoria and Benedick were combustible, but misunderstandings had them running from each other. Danger put them in each other's path again, and the truth came out, including feelings. I loved Victoria's independent streak, her loyalty and care for the unfortunates, and her willingness to accept help. Benedick was patient and tender, but needed to see from her point of view, which he did. They were cute together, and that kept me reading.
