Della's past touched my heart, and her present had its own issues. Shadow cared about Della and did what he could to help her heal. She grew stronger under Shadow's caring. I loved how he was quite ready to claim her almost from the start and regretted his past actions. He was so protective of her and loyal to his MC. Definitely loved the MC's support. A great beginning to this series, and I look forward to more.
