A steamy read with a lot of romantic suspense. I enjoyed this reunion between Karmen and Benson. Both were still in pain from their breakup five years ago. Karmen still cared about Benson and wanted to help him out the situation he was in. Just seeing each other brought the heat and wanting back to the surface. I loved how Karmen realized quickly what was the most important thing in her life and went after it, despite the chance it would go wrong. Benson was careful with her, but the heat was still there. They walked into danger together with trust, even with all the fallout around them. I thoroughly enjoyed this story as their love was stronger than they realized.
