I could not put this book down. It ripped out my heart with all the emotions, family, and support throughout. Part of this book started a bit in the past, hit upon an horrific incident that had me in tears in an earlier book for the character's point of view, and the aftermath. Kaia and Hurricane were a strong couple, very much in love, until the unthinkable happened. I went through so many tissues for at least half of this book, and I definitely was surprised by the ending. I loved all the Defiance chapters showing up for support of brotherhood and family. I have loved this couple from the beginning.
