Blurb:
Looking into the river, They saw what they never believed. They all had something special, That they first didn't see.
This illustrated children's book is for all children who love animals. You'll meet many different animals, all with unique character features, who are having a hard time accepting who they really are. It is not until they speak with other animals that they realize their traits are truly invaluable and special.
Children will learn through a rhyming story with beautiful illustrations that simple words of kindness can help to change negative thoughts, encourage you to be grateful for what you have, and remind you to be kind to yourself. They will want to read it over and over again.

My Review - 5 of 5 stars -
This was a delightful story. The lesson on appearances was nicely done. Taking two animals that aren't the cutest and adding a more threatening animal gave the opportunity to show the good side. The illustrations were done, capturing the animals quite well. A great bedtime story, teaching tool, and fun read.
I received a copy through RABT Book Tours, and this is my unsolicited review.
