My Review - 5 of 5 stars - 

This story had a lot of feels for me. I loved how Silas and his family took Addie and her daughter under their wings. He was so accepting and protective. Addie had pretty much been on her own and successfully built her bakery. Her determination to survive and the love for her daughter were wonderful to watch. At first it was a little slow, but once it got going, I could not put it down. There were several moments of tears, anger, and awesomeness. Well worth the read.
