Blurb:
Eat, Pray Love meets The Road Trip takes young lovers through India in a search for wisdom and higher love in this adventurous, heartwarming romance.
Lara and Daniel met when he performed his songs at a charity ball, and they fell madly in love. Moving into his apartment in Italy they planned a beautiful future, but Lara’s restless spirit suddenly decides they need to expand their consciousness. A pilgrimage in India! That will do it. Daniel agrees. He’d follow his beautiful muse anywhere.
They follow Lara’s “Map for Enlightenment” through India's bustling city streets, soaring temples, and dusty plains. Daniel finds inspiration when he plays with Indian street musicians and learns their thrilling forms of music.
But a traffic accident puts Lara in the hospital, and Daniel decides it’s time to go home. Lara refuses, saying her search is just beginning and she’ll limp through the journey to find a spiritual retreat and a teacher of wisdom.
Life in a remote Indian ashram? Daniel can't fulfill his dreams there, and Lara can’t fulfill hers elsewhere. Their future together seems to be crumbling away. Are they heading for a heart-wrenching split—or will love, truth, and music open a path they can share?
“This book wakens the hopeless romantic within and gives you the courage to explore new things.” ~ Reader

My Review - 4 of 5 stars -
This story had a lot of ups and downs. Lara and Daniel cared for each other, but they had different ideas about the path ahead of them. Daniel was patient for as long as he could. He compromised a lot because he loved Lara. She was a bit scatterbrained but was trying to overcome her past. I had not realized that this was part of a trilogy, but everything was explained satisfactorily in the first couple chapters for me to understand their journey.
I received a copy through Goddess Fish Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
