I found this very enjoyable. An instant connection with a lot of angst and steam to move through until the truth was admitted. Marie had a lot of past to overcome before she was ready to be happy. I loved her independent nature, her intelligence, her dedication to her job and her boss. Jace was hooked immediately and tried to do all he could to keep her in his life. He was protective, a bit forceful when needed, and very romantic. By the end of the story, I was so invested that I had tears and the same reaction as Marie. Loved this and look forward to the next.
