This was my first by Aubrey Parr. I loved the idea of bringing along a broken-hearted woman they just met for their trip to New York. Lauren was very impressed by the wealth that Kate and Nicole tossed about. It was definitely a Pretty Woman story except that Lauren falls for Zane, a bartender. I enjoyed the trip through different aspects of New York as Lauren and Zane came to the realization that they loved each other. Lauren was strong enough to make arrangements to stay so that she could get to know Zane better. An entertaining read.
