The Royal Bastards moved south of the border. Smoke messed up and was sent to begin a new chapter while trying to check on the cartel dealing guns. I loved Smoke's total disregard for the local "protection" and went about everything his way, even planning ahead to protect himself and the MC. He had some trouble focusing once he set eyes on Marisol. She was an interesting character, pretending until truth was right in front of her. There were plenty of steamy scenes between Marisol and Smoke, quite hot, and this deepened as their hearts got involved.
