This was the ending to the story of Makaylie and Cain. There were quite a few ups and downs. Near-death experiences, witness protection, help from the NOLA Defiance MC, and faith in their love kept this story going. Makaylie believed that she could deal with Cain's darker side when he was ready to let her in. She got more than she bargained for. Cain wanted to protect her as long as possible because she brought light into his life. Worlds collided, and good intentions were obliterated. I enjoyed their journey.
