My Review - 5 of 5 stars -
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It had my emotions engaged with ups and downs, hopes and "oh no's". There were moments that had me in tears. A few years after her husband's death, Amy felt that she had achieved her list - owning a successful bakery, being a good mother, and moving beyond her grief. She even began to draw closer to her sisters and mother. In came Noah. The connection was instant and electric, but she pulled back because of fear and guilt. I loved Noah's tenacity and patience, and how he had overcome his past. He was a wonderful, gentle, and lonely man who finally found his "home". I highly recommend this story.
I received an ARC, and this is my unsolicited review.
