My Review - 4 of 5 stars -
I enjoyed Genevieve and Mallon's story. At first, I was not fond of Genevieve. She came off as cold and predatory. I understood the why and was glad when she finally realized there was more to be found in life. Her independence came through as well as a softer side. Mallon was suspicious, especially when it took him a bit to place Genevieve. He was determined to protect his nephew. The more time they spent together, the more love grew.
The narration by Elspeth Cyprian was wonderful. Her characterizations of the different accents and genders were entertaining and a great addition to the story.
This is my unsolicited review.
