Audiobook Review: Winter in Kentbury (Kentbury Tales #6) by Claudia Burgoa, narrators Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and Robert Hatchet

Blurb

From USA Today bestselling author Claudia Burgoa comes a new, stand-alone and heartfelt Kentbury Tale about rekindled love and old scars.

Until a year ago, I had a pretty good handle on my life.

I ran my grandmother’s flower shop, lived in the quaint apartment above it, and everything was perfectly fine.

Until business slowed, bills piled up, and I started wondering if I’d lose everything.

Now, I’m holding it all together by a thread—depending on one major wedding order that could save everything.

But, of course, a blizzard hits, and my delivery van breaks down.

And who shows up to help? Holden Miller.

My first love and the man who broke my heart.

Brooding, distant, and somehow even more infuriatingly handsome.

He’s the last person I want to rely on, but I don’t have a choice.

Now we’re stuck together, forced to confront the past I’ve been running from.

The cold might be the least of my worries.

Because the hardest thing I have to face is the one person I thought I could never love again.

My Review - 5 of 5 stars -

A second chance for Jenna and Holden. It had been many years, and Jenna did not want to face him. She was focused on saving her business. Snow, a truck that broke down, and Holden's need to get away from everyone, Jenna was faced with being stuck at Holden's until the storm ended. I enjoyed how the two of them were willing to talk honestly about the past and the present, how Jenna was able to help Holden through his PTSD as he experienced an episode, and how Holden made sure Jenna made it to her destination and keep her business afloat. I had tears at the end as they spoke their vows. A truly wonderful story.
The narrators, Stephanie Nemeth-Parker and Robert Hatchet (a new voice to me), did a great job bringing these characters to life. They had the right emotions that I could feel the story.

This is my unsolicited review.
