Blurb:
A reclusive anti-hero, a forbidden love, and a twisted mansion full of secrets collide in this steamy, emotionally charged romantic thriller by bestselling author Amanda McKinney.
Astor Stone built an empire on power, secrets, and control. But when he receives a ransom note for his estranged wife—the woman he’s kept hidden for years—he’s forced to play someone else’s game. The plan is simple: attend an exclusive party, get her back, and walk away.
Until Sabine Hart walks in.
When the night takes a deadly turn, Astor makes a ruthless decision: take his enemy’s daughter as collateral. Just for one night. ...But obsession doesn’t follow rules.
Sabine Hart never expected to end up the captive of a darkly handsome, dangerous man in a tucked-away mansion with creepy rooms and an even creepier housekeeper. But the longer she stays, the more Astor pulls her in—and the harder it becomes to tell the threat from the temptation.
Because in Astor’s world, passion is power.
And falling for him may be the most dangerous move of all.
MINE is a seductive dark romance packed with steamy enemies-to-lovers tension, jaw-dropping twists, and a possessive anti-hero you won’t forget.
No cliffhangers.

My Review - 5 of 5 stars -
This was a long one and full of twists and surprises. Astor was a demanding, dominant, wealthy, and very hurt man. When he saw Sabine, he knew he wanted her. Sabine was a confident, independent woman who felt the same attraction. There was a lot of drama within Astor's life, including murder, infidelity, come-back-from-death, secrecy, and more. I did not want to stop listening. The narration by Alison River and Gideon Frost added to the story. I enjoyed the nuances they gave to the different characters.
I received a copy through Blush Audio Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
