Book Review: Hey! There are Monsters at My House (Reggie and Rufus) by Marlene Thalman

Blurb

Reggie is a young child who is afraid of the dark and worries about monsters. He and his pet cat, Rufus, try to find monsters in various places but they are unsuccessful. Reggie starts to doubt that monsters are real when he begins to find natural explanations for what he mistakenly believed were monsters. Rufus is often mistaken by Reggie as a monster. Reggie continues to face his fears about monsters while protectively caring for Rufus. Reggie is very brave during the day but his fear of the dark makes him less secure at night.

My Review - 5 of 5 stars -

Reggie and Rufus searched the house for monsters. Cute way to talk about dealing with monsters in the dark. They used tricks to try and get the monsters to come out. Rufus was the monster in the shadows some of the times. In the end, they both liked the light. I would recommend this story for any families with children afraid of the dark.

I received a copy through Goddess Fish Promotions, and this is my unsolicited review.
