Until she’d careened into his life.
Walker Laine is a star forward for the Baltimore Breakers, and he’s only interested in three things—pucks, food, and ever-revolving door of women.
Until Dommie.
The woman is as smart as she is infuriating, and more stubborn than any person he has ever met. Her walls are thick and impenetrable and for the first time in his life, he wants to break through every barrier in his way and get to the heart of a woman.
Because…he likes her.
And he wants her.
But how to convince her to let him keep her forever?

My Review - 4 1/2 of 5 stars -
4 1/2 stars. I really enjoyed Dommie and Walker's story. This was a second chance at love with Walker realizing and trying to atone for how he left Dommie. They had great chemistry with a great support system surrounding them. Dommie tried to put the past behind her and found that her trust had been damaged but wanted to move beyond because of her love for Walker. There were emotional moments in the last quarter of the book. I recommend this story.
