Henry eased me down onto an enormous bed and he reached for the collar of his shirt. Pulling it over his head, he tossed it aside before toeing off his boots. The hungry look on his eyes made my nipples harden, and for the first time in my life, I felt desire. The real kind. I knew what I felt right now had nothing to do with the serum. My heart raced, and both anticipation and a hint of fear buzzed in my veins.

He said I was his mate. What if he was wrong? Or changed his mind? He unfastened his belt and jeans, then pushed the denim down his legs. Even though his underwear remained, I could see the hard, thick line of his cock behind the fabric.
