I told the team I’d be icing it at the end of the new season, and they insisted on making a big deal about it. Then the sports network chimed in with an in-depth television show about me and my life. As jaded as I am, Lydia Lane is different. Talking to her, even with the cameras on, is like sharing memories with my best friend. I want more Lydia, and no matter how hard I try, I can’t fight needing her.

My Review - 4 1/2 of 5 stars -
4 1/2 stars. Lydia was controlled by her past, so she was hesitant to become involved with another athlete. Hunter announced his retirement, and Lydia came into his life in a big way. They were so hot together, made each other whole, but had a bit of a time committing, mostly on Lydia's side. I had tears a couple of times and enjoyed the witty banter now and then. This story was worth the read.
